Your employees can meet the State of Florida dementia training requirements with these special Florida versions of CARES. CARES Florida ALF Level I and CARES Florida ALF Level II meet all mandated levels of training for assisted living facilities. CARES® Florida ALF Level I™ Modules

CARES Florida ALF Level I is an online, video-based training program covering the first 5 modules of our standard CARES® Dementia Basics & Advanced Care™ program. It also has additional information to meet the mandated Florida curriculum requirements. A customized certificate with Florida approval numbers will print out upon successful completion of the program.

CARES® Florida ALF Level II™ Modules

CARES Florida ALF Level II is an online, video-based training program covering the last 5 modules of our CARES® Dementia Basics & Advanced Care™ program. It also has additional information to meet the mandated Florida curriculum requirements. A customized certificate with Florida approval numbers will print out upon successful completion of the program.

• Recognizing Pain
• Minimizing Falls
• Rethinking Wandering
• Minimizing and Eliminating Restraints

Medicare has identified the CARES Dementia Basics & Advanced Care Program as fulfilling the mandate of Section 6121 of the Affordable Care Act for Nurse Aide Training in Nursing Homes.
